A Crude Awakening + Obama/Hillary = A Mess to clean up!

Well this will probably be the first and last time that I talk about this election between Obama vs. Hillary, Black vs. White, Man vs. Woman..Sorry McCain.I say this due to how we have made this thing more about these 3 things instead of what can really be accomplished by our president. Wait lets talk about this....What crisis do we face? Hmmm Economics, Iraq and OIL!

OIL! something that affects the other 2 crisis we face...Okay no more talking just watch!
If we continue to just operate off hope and not the reality that OIL runs our lives then we all can possibly end up like this...

Just been looking at things from the lens and from what is happening...Oh wait before you put me in the conspiracy theorist category just take a look at this documentary (not from Michael Moore)... http://www.oilcrashmovie.com/ I saw this documentary about a year ago and just paid attention to the year after this...matter of fact here's a glimpse...

Oil Crash, produced and directed by award-winning European journalists and filmmakers Basil Gelpke and Ray McCormack, tells the story of how our civilization’s addiction to oil puts it on a collision course with geology. Compelling, intelligent, and highly entertaining, the film visits with the world’s top experts and comes to a startling, but logical conclusion – our industrial society, built on cheap and readily available oil, must be completely re-imagined and overhauled.

The idea that the world’s oil supplies have peaked, or will soon, is gaining mainstream currency. Robert B. Semple, Jr., associate editor of the New York Times editorial board, writes in the paper’s March 1, 2006, online edition:
“The Age of Oil — 100-plus years of astonishing economic growth made possible by cheap, abundant oil — could be ending without our really being aware of it. Oil is a finite commodity. At some point even the vast reservoirs of Saudi Arabia will run dry. But before that happens there will come a day when oil production ‘peaks,’ when demand overtakes supply (and never looks back), resulting in large and possibly catastrophic price increases that could make today's $60-a-barrel oil look like chump change. Unless, of course, we begin to develop substitutes for oil. Or begin to live more abstemiously. Or both. The concept of peak oil has not been widely written about. But people are talking about it now. It deserves a careful look — largely because it is almost certainly correct.”
Semple concludes: “These [are] not doomsday scenarios from conspiracy theorists, but hard scientific facts backed by serious research.”

One year ago, in a report commissioned by the U.S. Department of Energy, Robert L. Hirsch challenged the notion that the free market can solve the onrushing emergency:
"The world has never faced a problem like Peak Oil. Without massive mitigation more than a decade before the fact, the problem will be pervasive and will not be temporary. Previous energy transitions (wood to coal and coal to oil) were gradual and evolutionary; oil peaking will be abrupt and revolutionary."

Now I'm not saying I am immune to hope but when our president (the one who REALLY wants change) has his or her hands tied due to centuries of oil greed. Please take a step back and not treat them as we would when our favorite team has a bad season. They're trying...Good Luck new president! That's my hope! Thanks for reading...

Coltrane & Yoga

I wanted to share this with everyone...This is my daughter Coltrane and she is doing yoga at 2!!!!! When I was 2 I was still trying to figure out how to use the potty much less do yoga..Well this is my first child and today's children seem to be a little smarter then we adults give them credit..Think about it for a second parents if we just took a couple of those hours we spend in a office with our kids (not just on weekends) we might not have so many kids feeling like they have to be adults....Remember just because you don't do it doesn't mean the child can't try it..Yoga! at 2! go figure...Happy Birthday Bob Marley!

Thanks Lupe! From BK to WASH., D.C.

First I would like to say "Big Up!" to MN8Enterprises for bringing Lupe to DC with a sold out show that was uplifting. Second Mark you are a beast with the artist you bring! Now Lupe, Lupe Fiasco, Lupe the Fiasco or whatever it is you want to call him. I call him a blessing to the young generation...Let me inform you why? when I was growing up WITH Hip Hop (not rap) we had alot of conscious rappers who talked about the everyday struggles with our gov't (Public Enemy, Intelligent Hoodlum, Poor righteous Teachers, Brand Nubians, etc..) but not until I heard Lupe awhile ago call upon self awareness and today what I get from his music is a message that most of us couldn't speak of because we did not know how...confused yet? Now I can't speak on that man's life but I will speak on what he raps about and it's something again that most of us don't know how to do...and that is Be honest with who you are! Mirror honest not other people honest..Enough of that back to the night...Amazing performance!!!!!!!

Thanks LUPE! Rims & Tims...check his show and you'll find out what that means..One!
